Hello, ladies (and gentlemen, as applicable!),

We'd like to begin doing a monthly read and discuss here in Romance Land. Of course, our first task is to choose a book for our first discussion, which will take place March 3rd.

So. . .start nominating books! Rest assured, even if your pick isn't what we read this month, it will be chosen eventually.

Give me name of book, author, link to Amazon or BN so I can check it out.

Thanks! Looking forward to your suggestions.

hmm what sub-genre of romance does everyone enjoy?

What price point?   I tend to stay with the sweet small town but I'm open to trying new kinds.

I read all varieties of romance. I don't tend to stick to any one sub-genre. I'm interested hearing others' suggestions!

I recommend any of Julie Ortolon Books - they are very good. She writes in series -  each book ends then the next picks up the story line - here is one of the series Pearl Island - Falling for You is FREE right now on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Falling-You-Pearl-Island-Book-ebook/dp/B003VI...

Kristin Higgins has a book on sale for $.99 right now. It is The Best Man. I've been meaning to try her. I just bought it.

I highly recommend this book! Anyone read KH?

As everyone who knows me knows, I don't do Nicholas Sparks. Let's not open that kettle of worms. . .;)

Would this one work for everyone? I promise, it's amazing. . .

KH works for me!

Okay, our first book club read is going to be The Best Man by Kristan Higgins because it is on sale now for 99 cents! It's a really good book and start of a fun series. From here on out, we'll vote on the next book when we meet to discuss.

Can't wait to chat on the 3rd!

YAY! I'm so excited!

I really enjoyed The Best Man ~ in fact I have read Book 2 & 3 and I am now reading book 4 in The Blue Heron Series.  I loved the humor...I caught myself laughing out loud. I like to use Whispersync when I buy books on Amazon. It allows me to read and listen at a very reasonable price.

I bought book 2 and an getting ready to read book 3 in between review books. Kristan is so funny.

Her books are awesome--I've read them all now, and I'm anxious for more. Which has been your favorite couple so far?
