My Review:

Lindy is happy for the first time in years when she is rescued by Crimson Atarn and spirited away to the realm but someone from Crimson’s past has set their sights on Lindy in this captivating paranormal romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot captivates readers from the very beginning with suspense, excitement and romance. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Lindy realizes that the way she has been going about finding a mate has not only made her unhappy but has alienated her from her pack and just as she’s making progress with her life changes – she gets her wish as a sexy wulfen male steps in to save her life. Crimson is half fairy and half wolf and lives in the fairy realm so even though he knows he’s found his truemate - the relationship is in no way a sure thing.

The characters are strong and compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and along with the well written scenes and well orchestrated suspense and action draw the reader in and ensure that the reader can’t put the story down until they have read every last word. Lots of danger and excitement in both realms keeps Lindy and Crimson on their toes as Lindy’s life is threatened by a jealous rival in the fairy realm and by a jerk face in hers. But the heroine is no wishy washy female and her mate is one tough wolf who will do what it takes to protect her and to make her happy.

I couldn’t help but fall for this couple as their romance progressed towards their happily ever after and as usual R E Butler’s fascinating worlds always bewitch me with her intriguing characters, interesting and surprising elements and unexpected twists that keep me on my toes.
