My Review:

A woman on the run, Rhia is being hunted by the same vicious creatures that killed her mother, she thought she had come to terms with her solitary existence until Drake comes along reigniting her dreams of family and belonging and has her agreeing to go to Avalore to save them from extinction in this mesmerizing fantasy romance.

This steady to fast paced plot keeps readers on the edge of their seats with action, suspense, and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the fascinating world draws the reader deeper into the story. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and the well orchestrated suspense and action adds lots of excitement ensuring that the reader wants to know everything that happens.

Rhia and Drake’s attraction to each other is strong from the very beginning and the longer they try to fight it the hotter it gets until they can no longer deny it and have some hot and steamy sex, but the relationship is hampered by traditions and Drake’s determination to do the right thing. The reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as the couple try to handle their desires and stay one step ahead of the vicious creatures out to destroy them. Rhia has a strong personality that captures the reader’s heart as she struggles to come to terms with everything in her new life and Drake makes the heart pound with his sexy alpha protective personality…especially when he starts roaring at everyone.

The author has created a fascinating world with some interesting elements and surprising twists that ensure the reader will come back for more. There was never a dull moment and I was caught up in the story from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read the next one.
