Blurb:
A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint...
Sometimes you just have to believe...
A single crystal slipper. It was probably the weirdest gift librarian Celinda Branham ever received during a Christmas gift exchange. Who would even wear these in the real world? Not Celinda, wearer of sensible shoes and fairy tale naysayer. That said, she certainly has the requisite wicked stepmother, irritating stepsister, and empty bank account. Of course, if she actually believed in all that fantastical junk, she could wait for her Prince Charming... Only Prince Charming doesn't exist. But Preston Chandler believes in fairy tales. Oh, does he ever. All he did was spurn the advances of a certain witch, and now his sister is under a sleeping spell. And the only way to break it? Find the other glass slipper and give someone "Love's First Kiss." But when Preston finally tracks down Celinda, he's dismayed to discover that the shy librarian who owns the other shoe has no interest in anything remotely resembling magic—including love. Now he must find a way into his Cinderella's cynical heart, or lose his sister... and his only chance for true love.
My Review:
On a quest to save his sister, Preston Chandler finally tracks down Celinda, only she’s a shy librarian who doesn’t have any interest in anything resembling magic – including love so now he must find a way into her cynical heart or lose his sister…and his only chance for true love in this charming fairytale romance.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot charms readers right out of their hearts as they fall in love with the true fairy tale feel of this romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the intriguing suspense and romance draws the reader deeper into the story while the characters captivate the reader and ensure that they want to know the whole story.
Celinda is a shy librarian who’s been miserably treated by those that should have had her best interest at heart, so accepting that someone with an ulterior motive could truly want her will be the ultimate achievement for her, but her attraction to her Prince Charming burns hot and bright. Preston will do whatever it takes to save his sister and his time is running out, but he still doesn’t understand what the witch’s riddle really means and may not figure it out in time to keep Celinda’s heart. The romance progresses throughout the story as they work together and get to know each other and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the anticipation of this fairy tale happily ever after romance.
The author has mixed a few elements from fairy tales into her own charming fairy tale that truly captures the heart of any romantic who dreams of happily ever afters. I was completely enthralled by this fascinating story and I will certainly be looking for more books by Selena Fulton in the future.

About Selena Fulton:
My first novel, The Crystal Slipper will be available soon from Entangled Publishing! I’m so excited about this book, and I hope you will enjoy my contemporary fairy tale romance as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Also available is my novella, Never Let Go with The Wild Rose Press. It is a time-travel romance. What happens when a modern woman meets the man of her dreams, only he lives in the 1800’s?
I live in sunny Florida and consider myself a southerner because I’ve lived here for most of my life. Being born in a landlocked state, I love being near the ocean.
I can’t remember a time when books weren’t a part of my life. From the beginning, my mother would take me and my brother to the library and let us check out as many books as our arms could hold. I remember the smell of the library and the thrill of venturing into the stacks to discover the new worlds I found in books.
Stories abound in my head, usually just before I drop off to sleep. I come from a long line of story-tellers and hope I can honor them with my stories.
As I told someone once, life isn’t about the destination. We all get there, sooner or later. Life is about the journey…
