My Review

The third book in The Bringer and the Bane series is a great adult medieval fantasy that takes the reader on a perilous journey in the battle against evil.

Living in the shadow world for the last thirteen years as a Demon Bane, Rell has now been given the chance to be made human and brought into her full Bringer powers. Having been tortured for two years in a Bane prison, Siban will challenge death to become a bringer to be with the beautiful demon who saved him and he fell in love with.  Now, together they must join with the Bringers on a quest to save the other brings and what they learn may just challenge everything they know.

This steady paced and smooth flowing plot comes to life with well written words, vivid imagery and strong enchanting characters.  There’s lots of suspense, action, and romance to keep the reader entertained throughout. The conflict of good vs. evil is made into a refreshing one with the addition of unique characters and elements that adds depth and intrigue to this exciting story.

The romance between Rell and Siban radiate heat from the pages and the sex scenes cause the readers to shiver with desire.  The author does a fantastic job of conveying the emotional turmoil of the couple, the excitement and fear of all the characters making the reader feel as if they are part of story.

The author has created a wonderful fantasy world that captures the imagination and takes them on a “Raiders of the Lost Arc” quest in the continuing battle against the evil Demon Bane.  I have not had the pleasure of reading the first two in this series, so I can definitely say that the author also does a fantastic job of getting the reader caught up enough to enjoy this story and yet not spoil the first two.  I will be reading the first two books and I am looking forward to the next adventure.
