MY REVIEW:

Eric Pate is used to everyone obeying his commands until he meets Ella Lancaster and she’s tired of being a prisoner but when the PARA unit comes under attack, they are forced to make a deal in this spellbinding paranormal romance.

While trying to learn all of Ella’s secrets, Eric falls deeper under Ella’s spell and the beast he kept so carefully chained begins to break free and the reader can’t help but get caught up in all the thrills and passion when the devil loses his control. The attraction between Ella and Eric continuously grows hotter throughout the story causing quite a bit of turmoil while igniting some red hot passion but the relationship started off in a bad place and there are misunderstandings and secrets between them. The strong compelling characters of Purgatory continue to demand all your attention and Ella fits right in demanding her fair share while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the adrenaline pumping and hearts pounding with suspense, action and romance.

Tension and anticipation builds as Eric and the Para unit gets closer to the truths that Ella hides and an old enemy from Ella’s past comes for her causing lots of chaos. The well written scenes capture the imagination with vivid details that make it easy for the reader to become part of the story while the well laid events not only ensure that there is never a dull moment but that the readers are so engrossed in the story that they lose track of time – I forgot all about supper…oh well.

I have to say that I have been waiting for Eric’s story and I was in no way disappointed, it was exciting, explained quite a few things about him and really made me fall more in love with him but of course I fell for all the sexy men in the Purgatory series as they are all so alpha male and hot!!!. Anyway I can’t wait to read the next one.
