I am a disabled sociologist who is now able to do little except read. After spending my working life as an editor, journalist, grant writer, Public Information Officer, college professor, tribal planner and programs director, as well as numerous other wonderful things, the inactivity was killing my brain. I was writing reviews anyway, so I decided that I should create a blog to share my reviews, promote authors and their books, and simply have fun. I ended up with two blogs. I try to blog and review books around the glitches with my health and the accompanying issues with my hands. It's been enlightening. I'm still learning. I love meeting authors and fellow bloggers; the writing community is exceptionally friendly (for the most part). I'm hoping this will help me get my own writing back on track.

Hi Michelle. It is a pleasure to meet you. While our circumstances are most likely different, I have a disability. It makes writing challenging and limits author opportunities.
Hi, and nice to meet you. Thanks for reaching out. I'm in the newspaper biz and have been a journalist and editor also. But never a college professor or tribal planner.
