1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? 

I write romance! I love tough guys with soft hearts, kickass heroines and steamy love scenes. In my non-writing life. . .well, is there such a thing? I'm a wife, mom of four and mother-in-law of one. I live in central Florida.

 

2. What inspired your book? 

The Only One is the final book in The One Trilogy. Rilla is a character who's been on my mind for a while, and Mason was in the first two books of the trilogy. I knew many young women like Rilla, and I thought they could all use a little Mason in their lives.

 

3. What are you working on now? 

I'm working on my next two releases, Just Roll With It, the 4th book in the Perfect Dish series, and The Plan, the next Crystal Cove book.

 

4. Who is your favorite character?

 I don't play favorites! However, I will say that in my paranormal universe, Rafe Brooks is really far up there. In my con rom uni, I'm very fond of Ava from Just Desserts and I Choose You. 

 

5.Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination? 

There is always at least one element of every book that's based on something I've experienced or watched a friend experience. In The Only One, Rilla's relationship with her church is something I've seen first-hand. I embellished a little, but not as much as you might think.

Tawdra Kandle has been a writer since the invention of the pen. Her first published work appeared in Child’s Life magazine when she was 13. After a brief, thirty-year hiatus, she published a young adult quartet, The King Series. More recently, she’s released contemporary and paranormal romances in both the adult and New Adult genres. Tawdra lives in central Florida with her husband and children, of both skin and fur types. And yes, she has purple hair.
