"I absolutely did not want to put this book down. Honestly, I wasn’t sure whether I would like it or not, but let me tell you, once I got a couple chapters into it, it was amazing! I love that we were able to read from all the women’s points of view. The idea that these women of different origin and background share a common dream and remain hopeful despite their personal tragedies puts a positive feeling throughout the story. The situations mentioned, made this story very real. I felt personally involved in what was going on, and I couldn’t wait to find out more! I like that it took us through many years of trials and tribulations that happened in Haiti, as well."
