My Review:

This paranormal vampire romance keeps readers tingling with anticipation and suspense from beginning to end.  Vampire and media darling Cici Trent turns to the vampire that broke her heart for help when someone starts murdering the clients of her dating service.  With plots and secrets being revealed Cici doesn’t know whether to love him or kill him, but as danger stalks them both, they’ll have to work together to survive.

This fast paced plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, action, drama and romance as danger closes in on this couple.  The author brings the story to life with vivid imagery and details that make the reader feel as if they are part of the action.  The characters are strong, bewitching and easily related to ensuring that the reader gets caught up in their stories. 

The chemistry between Cici and Deacon is certainly not a problem it explodes off the pages with lots of sizzling passion and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but the relationship is a up and down, on and off, round and round merry go round of drama and passion that keeps the reader smiling and chuckling while the two try to work out their problems among all the danger surrounding them.  I do believe that this began as the ultimate communication problem that escalated due to stubbornness.

The suspense is spine tingling and the romance entertaining and the author has certainly created a vampire romance worth reading with some surprising twists that the reader doesn’t see coming.  There are lots of fascinating supporting characters that also engage the reader and the enemy inspires lots of violent thoughts in the reader.

I was totally caught up in the story from the very beginning and I wasn’t ready to see it end.  I certainly hope that the author plans to write more books in this world and these characters as I am very curious about a couple of things and quite a few of Cici and Deacon’s friends.  Overall, I definitely have to say that Robin Convington’s first paranormal romance is a huge success.
