My Review:

This novella in the Demons of Infernum series is an intriguing paranormal romance that keeps the reader guessing.

Incubus and biochemist Cresso Taylor lives the lifestyle that most men would envy – wealth, charm and more women than he can handle but after meeting sexy scientist Genevieve Russell, it’s not enough anymore.  Broken-hearted, Genevieve is determined to stay clear of the sexy as sin Dr Taylor.  But when she starts receiving threatening notes and grisly gifts, Cresso becomes her protector and as they hunt her stalker she learns there is more to the sensual incubus than she ever imagined.

This fast paced and intriguing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of sexual tension and suspense. The author has the reader feeling like they are part of the story with vivid images and lots of details that make it a believable and entertaining story.  The strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention and doesn’t let go.

The attraction between Cresso and Genevieve radiates heat from every page and leave the reader smoldering with passion.  The author clearly conveys the emotional turmoil of each of the characters as they try to handle their relationship and the stalker. 

The suspense builds as the couple try to find out who is after Genevieve and keeps the reader guessing as they follow the clues.  The author has created an fantastic paranormal demon world that captures the imagination and keeps the reader turning the pages until the very end. 

I haven’t read the previous books in this series, in fact, it is my first book by this author but I will be remedying that and looking for more books in this series.

Rosalie Lario is the award-winning, paranormal romance author of the Demons of Infernum and the Fallen Warriors series. Rosalie double majored in Anthropology and Classics as an undergraduate student, and briefly considered becoming an archaeologist before realizing they don’t actually live the life of Indiana Jones. So what was a classical geek armed with a lot of useless knowledge to do? Become a lawyer, of course!

After attending law school in Florida, she practiced real estate law for several years before finally admitting to herself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories.
