My Review:

His forbidden touch affects her profoundly and he sees things in her that no man has before, but is she willing to risk everything to keep her secret and her lover safe in this mesmerizing sci-fi romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps on the edge of their seat with suspense and romance. The author describes the story with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the intriguing world draws the reader deeper into the story while the strong compelling characters ensure that the readers want to know more.

Rita’s attraction to Tristan is forbidden since he is a prisoner but she can’t deny the strong attraction she feels for him and Tristan is consumed by guilt for wanting Rita after the things he’s been accused of doing.  The reader can’t help but get caught up in the drama and excitement of their budding romance and the situation is further complicated by Rita’s lieutenant and ex-lover, whose malicious intent and betrayals are uncovered,

The story is an enjoyable and entertaining quick read in a fascinating futuristic setting but unfortunately for me I was left with too many questions at the end which dimmed my enjoyment – my curse of too much curiosity.
