Review: Twisted Death (Twisted #2) by K.R. Brown

My Review:

The second book in the Twisted series is a riveting roller coaster of a paranormal romance.  Rayne is a hunter who should not be falling for a vampire, but neither she nor Dimitri can fight their growing bond which will change their lives forever – in ways they can’t possibly imagine.

This steady to fast paced and smooth flowing keeps readers on their toes with suspense, drama, and romance.  The author describes the stories with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the spine shivering anticipation builds as the reader waits to learn what the future has in store for Rayne and Dimitri.  The characters are strong, charismatic and grab and the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The attraction between Dimitri and Rayne radiates lots of heat from every page and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but this bonding is in no way set in stone.  The reader can’t help but get caught up in all the drama that stems from their attraction and the emotional turmoil that pulls the reader in as many directions as the couple seems flow into.  I fell hard for Dimitri, he is certainly a vampire that deserves to find his HEA and I like Rayne at the beginning, she is this kick ass hunter that seems so well put together, but after an event (no spoilers), she changes and I wasn’t as crazy about her, she hurt Dimitri.  A dangerous stalker also spices up the story as he is very determined to see Rayne dead and while I know how things worked out, what happened to him, what did they do with him?

The story draws the reader in and keeps them engaged with all the drama and intriguing characters and I was completely caught up in it and was surprised by a few unexpected twists, and I am looking forward to the next book in the Twisted series.

I am a military brat turned military wife.  My husband spent 16 long years in the military and in that time I found my voice in writing.  We have had some very tough times in the almost 15 years we have been married.

I have been a stay at home mom with my two amazing children.  They have brought many different challenges into my life and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. My daughter is the reason for my two children’s books.  She is my muse for many of my books.  She likes to push mom to do more and better things.

Over the past five years I have written many different things.  Five novels and many different short stories, two go with my Twisted Fate Series of books. It has always been my goal to find a publishing house to publish my books.  I finally found that house in Bar Publishing this past December. I am currently working on the fifth novel to the Twisted Fate Series.

When not writing I love to do crafts, which turn into SWAG for all my amazing fans.  I also love to read and have tons of books on my ereader.  I have a love for Paranormal Romance books along with some YA books.  I have a wide range of things I love to read.
