Blurb:
Book 7 in the New Species series. Zandy's had too much to drink and is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She knows she's going to die. When next her eyes open, a beautiful man-creature is holding her in his arms. He's just too tempting to resist; her very own fallen angel. She wraps herself around his body, determined to have him. But when this angel turns out to be flesh and blood, reality crashes in-she's seducing a New Species. Tiger's shock quickly turns to intense passion when the human female kisses him, despite the fact she's trying to get his clothes off while he's engaged in a task force operation. He's also made it clear he'll never take a mate. Rather difficult when he and Zandy can't keep their hands off each other. The taste and feel of his little human just leaves Tiger wanting more. Publisher's Note: While each New Species book is a standalone, the greatest enjoyment will come from reading them in series order.
My Review:
Tiger has made it clear that he’ll never take a mate but he can’t seem to fight his attraction to Zandy and before he can get things figured out, more New Species enemies go on the warpath in this breathtaking paranormal romance.
Zandy’s life sucks and after being married twice she has sworn off men but then her new job puts her right in the path of a sexy Tiger. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the rollercoaster ride of their romance as their desire burns hot and only gets hotter and neither one can fight it. While the passion is there and the frequent scorching hot sex scenes could burn them alive, the relationship has a major stumbling block as neither wants to make a commitment. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning as these two make a smoking hot couple and I have to say that Tiger made my heart pound when he jumped the wall and well Zandy is my kind of woman as she told off those haters.
The plot is fast paced and smooth flowing and ensures that there is never a dull moment as new enemies come out of the woodwork to attack the New Species and especially any human females that have anything to do with them. But that’s not all that’s going on lots of excitement inside Reservation as well as Zandy learns a few things about New Species senses, especially when it comes to scents and quite a few teasing comments thrown back and forth provides lots of chuckles.
Vivid imagery brings the story to life while the well orchestrated and believable action draws the reader in and ensures that they can’t put the book down and once again, I was completely enthralled with this story and I can’t wait to read the next one.

About Laurann Dohner:
I had a rather short area here telling a little about myself but then I had more than a few people ask me to expand it so... here goes. LOL. I'm a full time home 'supervisor' which is a nice word for saying I'm a housewife. I'm happily married, I met my dream guy in 1989, and we have 4 children. I live in Nevada and I can't function without iced coffee. I believe in romance, I've always been a daydreamer, and I'm a HUGE fan of books - always have been.
No, I didn't know that I always wanted to write. I inhaled books as a child. I read entire series (Pippi Longstocking, Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, Trixie Beldon, The Borrowers, etc) in a matter of days. By the time I turned nine years old I had an adult library card where I visited often. I moved on to John Saul, Stephen King, Richard Laymon, Agatha Christie, and then found romance. I got hooked. I wrote poetry in my teens and then moved on to short stories. I started to write my first book after I read a real bomb of one that ticked me off with really horrible characters and a plot that was shabby at best. I thought...I could do better!
I wrote my first book which will probably never see the light of day in the early 90's. I wrote a series of books from it. I'm a series fan! I kept writing for fun, wrote MANY books and then in 2009 I decided to attempt to get published. I wrote my first Sci Fi romance and Ral's Woman came to be. I submitted it and with a little tweaking, Ellorascave sent me an acceptance letter. It was kind of a 'Cinderella' experience for me. It's been a terrific ride so far and I'm really happy. It's a dream come true.
