My Review:

Elena Ronen and her lover Vittorio find themselves the objects of some very hostile witches and they will have to unravel the mysteries of their rivals before their lives and the lives of the ones they love are damaged beyond repair in this riveting paranormal fantasy romance.

A fast pace and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seats with lots of suspense, excitement, magic and passion. Well written scenes and details inspire vivid images and capture the imagination and the well orchestrated suspense draws the reader deeper into the story while the strong bewitching characters grab the reader’s attention and ensure that the reader wants to know the whole story.

While their passions still burn hot, things aren’t going so smoothly in Elena and Vittorio’s romantic life and the reader can’t help but get caught up in all the sparks that are flying everywhere and the emotional turmoil that almost brings this couple to their knees.

Spine tingling tension builds throughout the story as they the danger escalates and along with all the excitement ensures there is never a dull moment. Their enemy has them in a very tough spot while they are emotionally compromised and they stand to lose it all…let me just stay that they are better than me, I do not think I could have be able to stop myself when dealing with the bad guys. We are introduced to some more interesting characters and Elena learns more about herself that she wants to know adding lots of intrigue and spice to the story and I am so looking forward to reading Deceived.

I’m Jennifer. I live by the online rule of, “If I don’t want my family/friends/boss/etc to know this about me, don’t put it online.” I’m a pretty open person, and there’s really nothing about myself that I feel the need to hide, so that’s not a big problem. But if you’re looking for the intimate, gory details of my life, well, this isn’t the place for you.

Who is Jennifer? That’s a good question. It’s one I work on pretty much every day of my life. Right now, I’m a 30-something year old girl (yes, I still call myself a “girl,” not “woman.” I feel young, and “girl” doesn’t offend me.  Just don’t ever call me “ma’am.”  It makes me feel old.) I live in St. Louis, MO with Tiberius, my 80 pound half Black Lab, half Spazz mix. I am “one of those dog people everyone hates.”

My most ardent love is writing. What do I write? My current focus is urban fantasy novels. I originally thought I’d be a young adult author, but then National Novel Writing Month 2008 came around, and a fabulous story poured out, one with characters who demanded it be a series, and it’s much better than the first novel I ever wrote (the young adult one.) I also write the occasional poem, short story, and essays on life.  In fact, some of those are even published here.
