My Review:

The third book in The Watchers series is a riveting read that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Rayne is sent to track a Rogue-killing wolf and finds his mate. Suma is a skinwalker and has protected her people from afar. Their attraction grows as they fight the rogues, but they have a choice to make…to answer the call of love or the call of duty.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps reader shivering in anticipation with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated action and suspense scenes are exciting and believable. The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The attraction between Rayne and Suma burns hot upon first meeting and only gets hotter and there are some hot and steamy sex scenes, but the relationship has some major obstacles to be overcome. The reader can’t help but caught up in the drama and spine tingling tension as these two warriors battle the rogues, an evil human, their personal issues and of course their loyalty and duty to protect the innocents. Suma captures the heart with everything that she has done for her people even they had shunned her.

The author has spiced up the thrilling story with a few twists and surprises and introduced some new intriguing characters. I was totally engrossed in the story from the very beginning and I must say that I fell in with Rayne and Suma and I can’t wait to read the next one. I also want to tell you that if you haven’t read any of The Watchers’ stories yet, I recommend reading them in order to get the full impact of the main conspiracy of that the Rogues have going on, especially as some of the story is happening concurrently which means that you only get parts of it in this story, so you might be a little lost.
