My Review:

With Mahon still out to take her abilities and Connor being pressured to take Angelique as his mate, Angelique needs all the strength she can get but all things come with a price and Angelique is about to learn that not all prices are worth paying in this thrilling paranormal romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot takes up right where Skin Deep left off keeping the reader shivering in anticipation. The author brings the story to life with well written words and details that capture the imagination while the drama and suspense make the reader feel as if they are part of the story. The strong compelling characters continue to grab the reader’s attention ensure that the reader wants to hear all about their story.

Connor and Angel certainly can’t deny the attraction between them and their sex scenes burn up the pages, but the relationship is hampered by the danger that they are in and the fact that Connor’s alpha is forcing the issue before Angel is completely ready…I mean get real the poor girl’s life is on the line here.   But Angel is stronger than she thinks and Connor means a lot to her so she’ll have to get her stuff together.

Spine tingling thrills keep excitement high as danger lurks around every corner from that nasty druid… who I might add is quite delusional and there is a new mysterious stranger that shows up to spice things up even more.  The story ends with a major cliff hanger though so be prepared, but I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
