My Review:

Dreaming is more dangerous than ever and if you die before you…well you won’t wake. Harlan is set to fight the nightmares but someone is determined to stop him and Sera must face the harsh sands of the scrape to add her strength to the fight in this thrilling paranormal romance.

Forming a task force to stop the nightmares may be the most dangerous thing Harlan Fawkes has ever had to do as he must wade through political waters and watch his back more closely than ever before as he has no idea who to trust. Sera doesn’t like that he’s painting a target on his back but she’ll do what’s necessary to keep them all safe. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as all our favorite bewitching characters are facing the destruction of the dreamwaters by the Oneiros and the nightmares start to infiltrate the waking world.

The fast pace and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes as there is never a dull moment as this series gets more exciting with every story. The well written scenes and details paint vivid imagery that brings this complex and fascinating world to life and the well orchestrated events ensure that the readers keep coming back for more. 

I was completely caught up in the story once again as the author keeps me wondering with surprising twists and turns in a world where the rules don’t apply and characters intrigue readers with interesting and new rules of their own making and I can’t wait to find out what happens next especially with that ‘hold on to seat of your pants’ exciting ending. (Note: this is a serial romance and to ensure that readers don’t get lost in the scrape and not be able to find their way back to the waking world the stories should be read in sequence.)
