What the book has to say:
Novella approx. 20000 words
Part 1 of the Laws of Segregation
On the world of Arroway, witches have been persecuted for a thousand years. Now, Tallon, Enforcer for The Order of Warlocks has been sent to hunt and destroy Shayla, a powerful, young witch. But when he sees her, she awakens something inside him—some connection forgotten in the years of persecution. And when he starts his spell, she counters with magic so strong it rips them from their own world and into a new one—Earth.
Drawn together as unlikely allies in this strange new world, Tallon and Shayla must work as partners to find a way home. They relearn the bond that long ago tied witches and warlocks as one, and in doing so discover that not only is their future at stake, but the future of their whole world.
Chosen (Part 1)
The Calling (Part 2)

Exiled (Part 4)
What I have to say:
Tallon and Shayla become unlikely allies when they are whisked away to a strange new world in this intriguing first installment of Laws of Segregation serial.
Tallon has been ordered to kill Shayla but something calls to him and Shayla knows he is the enemy but something tells her to trust him and the reader can’t help but be drawn into the story as they suddenly find themselves at the mercy of witches in another world. The characters are strong and bewitching and the fast pace and smooth flowing plot grabs reader’s attention from the very beginning with suspense, while the fascinating world arouses the curiosity and ensures that the reader comes back for more.
The story is short and sweet but packed with suspense and passion and takes place in an intriguing world of witches and warlocks and it certainly caught my interest and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Introducing Nina Croft:
Nina Croft grew up in the north of England. After training as an accountant, she spent four years working as a volunteer in Zambia which left her with a love of the sun and a dislike of 9-5 work. She then spent a number of years mixing travel (whenever possible) with work (whenever necessary) but has now settled down to a life of writing and picking almonds on a remote farm in the mountains of southern Spain.
Nina's writing mixes romance with elements of the paranormal and science fiction.
