My Review:

Half-human half-nightmare Mirren Lambert is Vincent Blackman’s ultimate fantasy, but in order to keep her son safe he may have to sacrifice himself to find the Sandman in this riveting paranormal romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, action and romance. Erin Kellison captures the imagination with well written scenes and details that inspire vivid images of each and every scene and the complex and fascinating world ensures that the readers keep coming back for more. The strong compelling characters grab the reader’s attention and the well orchestrated suspense and excitement ensures that is never a dull moment.

Mirren and Vincent’s attraction for one another burns hot from every page but in order to have a relationship they will have to work around a few things. Mirren is half-nightmare which frightens most sane people and then there is her father who has terrorized the dreamwaters as well as the waking world for awhile now. The reader can’t help but get caught up in their romance as they navigate their complicated lives and try to find a solution to everything hanging over their heads.  Their characters are complex and a little strange and yet the reader can’t help but fall for them and want to help them along – there is something so intriguing about them that just stands out and makes them special.

The complicated dream world has just gotten more tantalizing and promises to keep getting better as the author has introduced the Sandman and new plots that could destroy both worlds and I can’t wait to read the next one.
