My Review:

After everything she’s been through, Sarah’s rightly distrusting of any man’s attention but something about him captures her attention, sure he’s a vampire, but she’s already learned that not all monsters have fangs besides someone out there isn’t too happy about their relationship in this bewitching vampire romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers shivering in anticipation with suspense, drama, and romance.  The author describes the story with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated drama and suspense keep readers on the edge of their seats while the characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The attraction Sarah feels for John instantly burns up the pages, but not only does Sarah have some issues due to some emotional trauma from her past that hampers the relationship, there is someone out there that is determined to keep them apart.  John is a sexy vampire that truly has a good heart and Sarah is the perfect mate for him.

 The story is full of passion with some scorching hot sex scenes and excitement and thrills from all the dangerous attacks on Sarah. There is a hidden enemy that adds lots of intrigue and spice to the story and a few surprising twists as well. I was completely caught up in the story from the beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one.  I haven’t read the first one…yet and it wasn’t necessary to enjoy this one, but the author has created a fascinating vampire world with some of her own interesting elements to make it stand out from other vampire romances without straying too far from vampire mythology.

Why do I write paranormal romance? Besides loving the happy ever after, I like to make the world up. You’d think with all the horror reading I’ve done, my books would be dark, but I also enjoy humor and that seemed to weasel its way in, so my stories are more on the light side. I wrote my vampires with this theory in mind: If vampires really existed, then they have to blend in with society. No killing to feed (or else there would be no people left). No marks from their bites. They hide in plain sight. You never know, the bartender at your favorite joint just might be a vampire!
