When she meets Hunter McCall, a local college professor and an expert on wolves, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to him and ends up spending more time in his bed than worrying about werewolves. That’s when Eliza finds out Hunter isn’t just an animal in the sack, he’s an animal out of it, too—of the werewolf variety. Talk about a complicated relationship. 

But Eliza can’t dwell on Hunter’s little shapeshifting issues for long. There’s another werewolf out there with a taste for human blood, and she and Hunter are the only ones who can stop him. If they don’t, they’re likely to become his next victims.

My Review:

After taking a job at a paranormal magazine, reporter Eliza Bradley is sent on her first assignment…to investigate rumors that a werewolf killed two men in this riveting paranormal romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers shivering in anticipation with lots of suspense, action, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written words and details that inspire vivid images and capture the imagination and the well orchestrated suspense and drama draw the reader deeper in the story. The action scenes are full of lots of pulse pounding excitement and along with the strong compelling characters that are easily related to, grab the reader’s attention and ensure that the reader turns page after page.

The attraction between Eliza and Hunter explodes from the pages at first sight and blazes throughout the story with some red hot sex scenes. The relationship gets a little complicated when Eliza finds out that Hunter is not just an animal in bed but out of it as well… as in he’s a werewolf.  The reader can’t help but get caught up in all the passion and excitement of their relationship as it catches the reader by storm and ensures that the reader follows along. 

Before Eliza has time to really digest that her lover is indeed a werewolf, the killer strikes again and she realizes it that only she and Hunter can stop him. As the danger escalates Eliza also discovers there more to this killer that they first thought and along with some friends land in hot water that may just be the end unless Hunter can rescue them in time.

There’s certainly never a dull moment with these captivating characters, thrilling search for a killer and lots of sizzling passion in this fascinating werewolf world that the author has added her own intriguing elements to. I was completely caught up in this book from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read the next one.
