Sean and Kira are two strong, convincing characters that easily seize readers’ attention and holds them hostage from beginning to end. Their sizzling chemistry and undeniable attraction heats up the pages as they fight their attraction because of the extreme situation that they find themselves in and because of all the powerful demons from their pasts if they want not only a chance at happily ever after but the chance to escape some maniacal bad guys with psychotically evil plans.

Readers can’t put this book down until they have read every last page of the fast paced and smooth flowing plot as it keeps readers hanging on to each and every word of this couple’s explosive story. Since the bad guys have a warped and convoluted plan, surprising twists and turns makes the story interesting and exciting as the hero and heroine discover mind blowing truths about their pasts. The plot is well-developed with plenty of details so readers find it easy to follow the twisty path this couple has to take to unravel a vast conspiracy. This is the first book that I have read in the series and I didn’t have any trouble following along as this couple have their own story, but their story does follow events that have already taken place raises some questions that readers will want to go back read the first two books to get answers for. The author also gives readers a creative and intriguing view of psychics and their abilities that really adds to the excitement of the story, especially during the psychic battles.
