What I have to say:

Homicide detective, Bobby Doucet has tracked a serial killer to Wisconsin where he meets Raye Larsen but the more involved in the case they become the more Bobby realizes Raye has secrets…secrets that could destroy them all in this thrilling paranormal romance.

Having to keep her abilities secret keeps Raye from revealing things to the detective investigating the murder and the reader can’t help but get caught up in this intriguing romance as the closer Raye gets to Bobby, the harder it gets to keep those secrets especially when she learns of the connection to her past.  These strong compelling characters bewitch readers from the very beginning and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers shivering in expectation with lots of suspense, excitement and romance while Bobby and Raye’s haunting pasts adds lots of depth to the story with emotional turmoil that grips the heart.

The suspense and expectation steadily builds throughout the story keeping readers on the edge of their seats while unexpected twists and surprises keep them guessing. The well written scenes and details bring the chilling suspense and the captivating characters to life while the well-orchestrated events ensure that the reader can’t put the book down until they have read every last word with several ghosts and dark magic adding lots of chills and interest to the story as well.

I love Lori Handeland’s Nightcreature novels, so I was very excited to find that she had written a new series and I have to say that I am not disappointed in fact I would say I am very thrilled to find that not only was I completely enthralled with the book, the characters and the intriguing plot, I found that I still get to hear from some of the characters from the Nightcreature novels.  Don’t worry, if you haven’t read them, that won’t affect your enjoyment of the Sisters of the Craft series, it’s just a bonus for those that have read them.
