My Review:

Head of Security, ice dragon, Darius Dachien’s dragon is fading because his mate Mei Chen is refusing to acknowledge the mating and he’s determined to turn things around but when he finds out her secret it threatens not only her life but the King’s as well in this fascinating paranormal romance.

With a fast pace and smooth flowing plot this dragon shifter romance keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. Mei and Darius are strong compelling dragons that really grab the readers’ attention and ensure that they get caught up in all the sparks that fly when these two get anywhere near each other, their passion burns hot from the very beginning and only gets hotter as their romance progresses. The relationship however has a major hurdle…Mei’s past which she has kept very secret (didn’t see that coming) and which just may destroy what Darius feels for her. 

The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life and the well orchestrated suspense draws the reader into the story and ensures that they can’t put it down. Spine tingling excitement and danger arrives in Vegas when Mei’s past comes back to haunt her threatening not only her life, but her mate’s and the Dragon King’s life as well. To spice things up even more, her secret causes quite a bit of friction between the dragons at the Crown Jewel casino.

I have been impatiently waiting for this book and I must say that now that I have read it, I have to say that I love Mei and Darius’ story and I was sorry to have it end… oh well I can go back and read it again (yippee!). I was completely caught up in the story from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one as this series just keeps getting better.
