Q and A with Young Adult/ Middle Grade Fantasy author

If you were allowed to only make FIVE statements about your book’s theme or message what do you want readers/listeners to remember about you and or your book?

1. You are never so small or so insignificant to not make a difference in life.

2. Your family, even if they seem annoying, is worth more to you than you realize.

3. If you seek the Truth you will find it.

4. Above all else, seek Wisdom, it will help you in ways you cannot imagine, and empower you to do great things.

5. Sometimes friends come from the most unlikely places.

Why did you write this book? Is there any “back story” that inspired you to write this book?

Six years ago as I put my five children (then three to thirteen years of age) to sleep, they ask for a story, so I made up a story that involved five children, not unlike them, but in a parallel world where the people have been reduced to a small size. Each night they asked me for more. So I decided to put the story to paper. Some seventeen revisions later, Keeper of Reign, the final version, was born.
