My Review:

Extra-sentient being, Kyros Vassalos knows that Lyssa Logan is one their kind and he senses that she’s in trouble so he’ll have to teach her control before her power overwhelms her, but coming in contact with her puts her in his enemy’s sights in this intriguing paranormal romance.

The author has created a fascinating world that draws the reader with strong compelling characters and some intriguing and different elements and the steady to fast paced plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense, excitement and passion. Lyssa has always had some strong but weird abilities but they come at great cost; brutal headaches, power fluctuations and she’s possibly losing her mind and the reader can’t help but get caught up in her story as she discovers that she’s not the only one out there and that she can learn to control her abilities. Kyros can’t believe he’s found an untrained female of his kind and he can’t deny the instant attraction he feels for her but he has some serious competition in the relationship department as Lyssa already has a sorta boyfriend.

The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and spine tingling tension builds throughout the story as Lyssa’s power fluctuations grow and Kyros’ enemy returns from the dead and targets Lyssa. The reader can’t help but become more fascinated with the story the more they learn of the extra-sentient beings world and there is lots of excitement and twists to keep the reader on their toes, especially when Lyssa takes the enemy by surprise.

There were a couple of instances where the story seemed to slow down, it would quickly pick back up and the story line is really engaging ensuring that I couldn’t put it down until the very end.
