Blurb:
Lael Hudson has had enough. He made a terrible mistake years earlier and has never been able to forgive himself. His brothers don't trust him and life seems like a series of pointless encounters—one after another, all meaningless. Until he makes a decision—leave the Guardians forever. Start a new life, one of his own making.
Margot Fox woke up one day in a small apartment in a city she didn't recognize without any memories at all. She has one piece of paper in her pocket warning her of danger. What is she to do? When the little money she does have runs out she has no choice but to seek help outside, which is when she runs smack into Lael Hudson.
Despite his decision to stay out of Guardian affairs, Lael can't deny his super human powers make him want to protect the woman who is convinced she must have been abducted by aliens. Together, they will discover the truth is more heinous than either of them could have imagined and that they will have to face the truth of their pasts if they're ever to have a future.
My Review:
After the accident Lael Hudson lost all confidence in guardian powers and left to make start a new life. With no memories at all, Margot Fox seeks help from Lael. Together they will discover a truth more heinous than either of them could have imagined and they will have to face their pasts if they want any kind of future at all in this mesmerizing superhero romance.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with action, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated drama draws the reader deeper into the story. The strong compelling characters grab the reader’s attention and capture the heart.
The attraction Lael and Margot feel for each other is complicated by their pasts and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the drama as the two have to face their pasts and learn to trust in their selves if they want a future together.
Excitement and drama give the readers thrills as their enemy wrecks havoc with the guardians and Margot learns a few things about herself that will have quite an impact on her future. While I wish the story had been longer, I enjoyed this quick romance that makes superheroes come to life and while I will miss the brothers, it is certainly a wonderful ending to the series.

About Rebecca Royce:
As a teenager, I would hide in my room to read my favorite romance novels when I was supposed to be doing my homework. I hope, these days, that my parents think it was worth it.
I am the mother of three adorable boys and I am fortunate to be married to my best friend. We live in northern New Jersey and try not to freeze too badly during the winter months.
I am in love with science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal and try to use all of these elements in my writing. I've been told I'm a little bloodthirsty so I hope that when you read my work you'll enjoy the action packed ride that always ends in romance. I love to write series because I love to see characters develop over time and it always makes me happy to see my favorite characters make guest appearances in other books.
In my world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.
I'd love to hear from you!
Cheers!!
