My Review:

Being a hopeless romantic has gotten Olivia Rose into trouble more times that she can count. Cody has a dark past that has kept him far from society for many years. Now they must band together to survive while running from the same enemy in this captivating paranormal romance.

Olivia has terrible taste in men and decides to take a break from it all only to land right smack in the middle of Trouble with a capital T and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Cody and Olivia end up rescuing each other while running for lives. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning of this fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of suspense, excitement and romance. The attraction between Olivia and Cody burns hot enough to set the mountains on fire but the relationship struggles to grow in between their clashes with the enemy and because of past issues on both sides and Cody’s secret – well it will definitely take some work to reach that happily ever after.

An enemy from Cody’s past has found him and sent his hunters for him putting Olivia in danger as well but things start heating up between them while on the run through the mountains with little supplies. The author captures the imagination and keeps reader’s guessing with some surprising twists and the suspense and excitement draws the reader into the story and ensures that they want to know every last word.

I was caught up in the story from the very beginning and while I wish the story had been a little longer and expanded on the world building a little bit, it is a quick and entertaining read with intriguing characters and interesting elements.
