The second book in the Ashwood Falls series continues to enchant the reader with its great characters and engaging world.

Shayna is a tiger shifter who is overprotected by her family and yearns for some freedom and she finds more that she’s looking for when she is protected by mutant rogues. Luckily she is rescued by Travis, a wolf who is out to destroy the mutants that destroyed his mate and pack.

The chemistry between the two burns hot and fast, especially when Shayna goes into her first heat and Travis helps her through it.  As the attraction builds, the two are forced to go on the run when they are attacked again.  Shayna’s love for Travis and his family grow and when they have to fight to save his daughter’s life

The suspense builds throughout the story as they try to stop their enemies and protect the inhabitants of Ashwood Falls.

  The author has created a world that leaves the reader entertained and wanting more with its well written sex scenes, fight scenes a believable story line and magical characters.  The story also has surprising twists that keep the reader anticipating what’s next.
