My Review:

The first book in the new science fiction romance is a thrilling and adventurous read.  Pretending to be the Prince’s emissary, Boone O’Keirna kidnaps the deadly hellcat Ophelia Leoni to keep her from marrying his sadistic half brother.  Too bad they can’t be in the same room without him wanting to throw her out the airlock, but even as they fight each other and their explosive attraction, the future King of Hansarda is not one to take defeat lying down.

The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance.  The author brings her story to life with well written scenes and events that capture the imagination and anticipation builds throughout the story as the Prince gets closer to getting what he wants and the danger escalates.  The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The attraction between Ophelia and Boone is very explosive and the sex scenes are scorching, but the relationship has some heavy duty obstacles in the way, lucky for them they do have the Lady on their side.  The reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as it is full of drama, danger, snarky and antagonistic dialogue, betrayals, rescues and saving a kingdom.

The author has created a fantastic action filled story that spans galaxies and keeps readers on the edge of their seat with surprising twists and lots of captivating characters. The hero and heroine of this one really bring this story to vibrant life and draw the reader deeper into the story; they are fun and ensure there is never a dull moment.  I was totally caught up in this story from the beginning and enthralled to the very end and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Katee Robert:

Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa's knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.

Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way--as it often does--and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she'd like to write a book and try to get published.

Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn't want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?

She now spends her time--when not lost in Far Reach worlds--playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
