Can a kidnapped fairy and a human find love despite all odds?
Nathan Alexander’s batty aunt has done it again. This time she’s sent him a rare plant he doesn’t want. Imagine his surprise when he finds a kidnapped fairy hidden within its leaves. As a man who heads a non-profit organization for abused women and children, Nathan makes it his mission to help her find her way home.
All her life Katenia was warned about the evilness of humans. Never was that proved more true than when she was kidnapped from her quiet valley home. Thrust into the human world, Katenia must fight her very instincts to trust Nathan if she ever hopes to return to her rightful place…and to her normal thumb-sized fairy form.
But with their lives in danger, finding home…and love…will be a journey worthy of a fairy tale.
My Review:
This novella is a charming and magical romance. Nathan Alexander doesn’t know what to think when he’s aunt sends him a kidnapped fairy in a rare plant and sure wasn’t expecting to find himself on a journey full of danger and possibly love worthy of a fairy tale.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, danger, magic, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life by describing the events and scenes with vivid details that capture the imagination. The strong compelling characters are easily related to and enchant the readers from the very beginning.
The attraction between Nathan and Katenia is hot enough to make fairies glow and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, while the romance is sweet and charming and gives readers an exciting happily ever after. The reader can’t help but get caught up in Katenia story as she finds herself in a very unfamiliar world with no idea how she got there and who can resist a knight in shining armor who rescues the damsel in distress.
The author has certainly caught my attention with this enchanting quick read that makes the heart feel good and to spice things up adds a couple of surprises that the reader doesn’t see coming. While I haven’t read the first book in the Dragon Lore series, I will be remedying that and looking forward to reading more books by Eden Ashe. (Note: This book may or may not be part of the Dragon Lore series as most sites refer to it as being, but the author’s site does not.)

I am a Browncoat.
I am Sherlocked.
I am the Bad Wolf.
I am Team Free Will.
Now that my nerdiness is out of the way, hi. I am Eden. I believe dragons have gotten a bad rep through time, and I am determined to re-write their history. They are the ancient warriors in tarnished armor. They are the hunted guardians long since abandoned by the goddess who created them. They are the majestic warriors with slightly warped senses of humor who not only deserve the girl in the end, but will fight forever for her.
