My Review:

The second novella in the Seven Sin Sisters series is a riveting read. Eloise has lived with bitter envy and only her mate can release her from its consuming spell.  Caedon is determined to satisfy her need if he can keep her safe, but he has his hands full with their secret close to be exposed.  Then the TEU comes across information that Caedon’s parents may be alive after all. Can Caedon save his parents and protect his newfound mate?

This fast paced plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, action, and romance. The author uses vivid descriptions and details that capture the imagination and tension building suspense to grab the reader’s attention and keep it throughout.  The strong compelling characters are easily related and inspire lots of curiosity ensuring the reader wants to know more about these Valendite Breeds and the sisters.

The chemistry between Eloise and Caedon explodes from the pages in a fiery of inferno of passion and frequent hot and steamy sex scenes.  The relationship may be a given seeming as they are mates, but that doesn’t mean the couple doesn’t have a few things to work through to reach their happily ever after.

The authors intriguing spin on the sin of envy adds a refreshingly different element and arouses lots of curiosity as to how the other sister’s fates will play out and the added spice of the unknown enemy possibly exposing their secrets keeps things real interesting.  I found the story to be a quite enjoyable quick read, but I do believe that the story would have been better if it had been a little longer.
