My Review:

The fourth book in the Demons of Infernum series is a mesmerizing read.  Half-siren half-demon bounty hunter Dagan Meyers swore he would never settle down until the met the one woman that is off limits. Lina has devoted her life to taking down evil Otherworlders, the last thing she wants is to fall for a man. But as the battle against a growing darkness grows Dagan and Lina find that love may be their greatest weapon.

The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance.  The author bring the story to life with well written scenes and details that inspire vivid images that capture the imagination and the battle and action scenes are well orchestrated and believable and gets the adrenaline pumping.  The strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning. There is a steady stream of spine tingling tension that builds throughout the story as the danger escalates from the dark elf, but also between Ronin and Dagan over Lina.

The attraction between Lina and Dagan radiates lots of intense heat from every page and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but the relationship is on rocky footing as they both have issues from their past to deal with and the fact that Lina’s adopted brother Ronin has warned his man-whore brother Dagan to stay away from Lina really puts a crimp in the budding romance.  Lina really captures the heart of the reader with her strength and courage to overcome the past as much as she has and gets caught up in her story emotionally.

I was totally engrossed in this thrilling and action packed story from the very beginning and found the author had quite a few twists that I didn’t see coming to make it even better and  I was impressed with the action and drama of the Armageddon style battle.  I fall more in love with these captivating characters the more I read and now of course new intriguing characters have been added to the group and I certainly hope there is more to come.
