Book Review - On Toby's Terms (A DOG BOOK WITH A SURPRISE HAPPY ENDING) by Charmaine hammond

On Toby's Terms (A DOG BOOK WITH A SURPRISE HAPPY ENDING) by Charmaine hammond Hammond International Inc. 'I love how many lives Toby touched' reviews Cali Book Reviews

"As a big animal lover, I couldn’t wait to read this book. Toby is a 5 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, who was put up for adoption by his previous owner when her husband passed away. Toby is a mischevious little 90 pound guy who seems completely innocent at first, but once the new owners got to know him, they quickly found out that he was feigning that innocence. When Toby got stressed out, he would end up locking himself in bedrooms or bathrooms and wreaking absolute havoc on his surroundings.

Charmaine has some great story telling abiities. I think she must have the patience of a saint, because I think I would have felt the same way that Chris felt after seeing how Toby tore things up when left alone.

Having 3 kids who wreak havoc on everything daily doesn’t seem like it would even measure up to the things that Toby did. Even though I am a big dog lover, I think his shenanegans might have riled me up after a couple times also. I can’t even imagine my husbands reaction! Normally, he has more patience than me, unless it’s an animal tearing things up!

I loved reading about Toby becoming a pet therapy dog, and how on Wednesdays he cheered everyone up. I love how many lives Toby touched.

I was drawn in from the beginning of the book, and laughed out loud and cried in many different parts of this book.

If you’re an animal lover, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you read this book!"
