Now as for the book. I have to say it lived up to the cover really well. Ellie Parker and Dex Remington’s first encounter was a romance of comforting love that ended abruptly. Raised in foster care, Ellie did not trust easily. Dex became her anchor. Dex is broken when she leaves without a word goodbye. Ellie left and spent the next few years a guarded and ready for flight.
