My Review:

This paranormal fantasy is a riveting and magical read that keeps readers on their toes.  Kassandra’s life is turned upside down when she finds an ancient book and a mythological Titan pops up out of it and claims he needs her help. On a deadly time crunch Darius is forced to bring Kassandra along on his quest to save his undersea kingdom from a deadly plague. He must learn to trust in her abilities if he hopes to find the cure all while avoiding being captured and leading them both into a fate worse than death.

This steady to fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the readers on the edge of their seats with lots of suspense, action, drama and romance.  The author brings this wonderful undersea world to life with vivid imagery and details that make the reader feel as if they part of the story. Spine tingling anticipation builds throughout the story as the adventure progresses with some surprises that the reader doesn’t see coming keeping the reader guessing as to what will happen next. The strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The chemistry between Darius and Kassandra is hot enough to boil the seas and the sex scenes are hot and steamy scorching the reader with their intensity, but it’s the relationship that sets off fireworks as the two clashes at every turn.  Darius is a take charge commanding get his way type of man and Kassandra doesn’t really take that very well especially when she knows that Darius is hiding something from her. 

The author has created a magical world of mythology and fantasy with her own unique spin that makes for a refreshing change and there are many intriguing and fascinating characters as well. There were a couple of instances when the story seemed to slow down a little, but they were quickly forgotten in the excitement of the next scene.  I haven’t read the first one in this series, but I will definitely have to remedy that and I will be looking forward to reading more about these captivating characters.

But one kiss can’t change the woman. Darius must learn to trust in Kassandra’s abilities if he’s going to find a cure for his undersea kingdom, all the while trying to avoid being captured and leading them both into a fate worse than death.
