My Review:

This urban fantasy book is a thrilling read that keeps readers on their toes.  Alana is sent back in time to stop the apocalypse only her time-traveling goes awry and all the signs she needs have passed and she has to discover another way.  Galen, the one man who has intel she needs has too many secrets for her to trust him. But demons attacking, unknown enemies trying to grab her and time running out, what choice does she have?

This steady to fast paced plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of action and keeps them guessing with lots of twists and turns that the reader doesn’t see coming.  The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and doesn’t let go.  The author brings the story to life with vivid imagery, and details that easily capture the imagination.

The attraction between Galen and Alana radiates from the pages and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but the main focus of this story is stopping an apocalypse, so really who has time for romance not mention that neither seems to trust the other very much.  So their relationship is rocky at best, but they do keep saving each other from the bad guys so maybe just maybe things will work out for them in the long run… that is if they live long enough.

The story starts off with a major action scene and gets the adrenaline pumping and the tension building as the story continues to progress through more well orchestrated and believable action scenes that keep the reader glued to the pages.  The world that the author has created is very imaginative and has some refreshingly different elements and quite a few surprises to ensure that the reader comes back for more.  I can’t wait to see what happens next in this fantastic series and its captivating characters.
