My Review:

This paranormal romance takes the reader on an adventure through time and music.

On a dream trip to research her doctoral thesis at a rock festival in England, Megan Miller is stunned that her temporary neighbor is the spitting image of her 70’s rock idol, too bad he’s a world-class jerk.  Davy Morgan is a 70’s rock star living in a different time and in order to protect his secret, he works overtime to keep beautiful next door neighbor at a distance.  That’s easier said than done and when Megan accidentally finds him in the past will their newfound love span the decades or will it get lost in time?

This fantasy plot takes engages the reader with suspense, romance and the lure of a happily ever after that crosses through time.  The author brings the story to life with well written words and strong compelling characters that are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention. The story invokes lots of suspenseful tension not only in the romance and time travel, but with the suspense in the characters side conflicts as well.  The author does a great job of bring the 70’s and the present to the reader and making them feel as if they are in both time periods with the characters.

The attraction between Megan and Davy burns hot enough to scorch the pages and the sex scenes are hot and steamy. The author gives the characters such a great understanding of the personalities and emotions of the characters that they can empathize and get totally caught up in their lives. 

Despite moving through different time periods, the plot flowed smoothly in a steady pace and the author managed to keep the reader from getting confused or lost as I find happens in some time travel tales.  While at a couple of places I felt that the story progressed just a little too slowly for me, overall, I found the story to be enjoyable and entertaining.

I live in Australia, on the beautiful  north coast of New South Wales. I live with my own hero of many years. Our two children are now grown up and married, and we have two beautiful grandchildren. We  share our home with "Bob" the dog and two white cats. 

My love of reading and history began at an early age and I was a child who always carried a book (or two) no matter what I was doing. Several of my favourite books were confiscated from underneath my desk by teachers who had no understanding of my capacity to read while I was doing my schoolwork!
My love of writing developed in "composition" classes during primary school and continued throughout the completion of an English and History degree.
My working life has seen me through several major career changes. I now have retired from the world of full time work and have fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a published author.
