My Review:

This riveting romance is the first book in an exciting new series and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Tortured and abused, Grayce has been on the run for years from a violent psychopath and the last thing she wants is a man especially since the way her body reacts to Zander scares her more that being found.  She is a Beacon and her raw burning energy gives Tyr power and strength so he will do anything to get his little dove back.  Zander must help Grayce control her rage before she unleashes her superhuman abilities and destroys everything and everyone in her path, but his true challenge will be teaching her to love and trust again.

This fast paced plot gets the adrenaline pumping with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance.  The author brings the story to life with vivid images, details and well orchestrated scenes that make the reader feel as if they are part of the story.  The strong bewitching characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The chemistry between Grayce and Z burns hot enough to singe the reader and the hot and steamy sex scenes scorch the reader with their intensity.  The relationship, however, has a long way to go due to Grayce’s past and of course the evil man that wants Grayce for his own selfish reasons.  The reader can’t help but get emotionally caught up in Grayce’s story as she fights to overcome her past and to accept all the new information being thrown at her. 

Along with the spine tingling suspense and drama there is also some humorous moments which spices things up a bit especially the dialogue by the foul mouthed firecracker heroine.  The author has certainly caught my attention and my imagination with this fascinating new world and captivating characters and I can’t wait to read the next book.
