Flair for Chardonnay

I loved this mystery! In fact it made me want to drink some wine, eat cheese and chocolate as I turned each page. I could almost smell the delicious truffles Sadie ate as the author described them. The Tremiato family has dynamics as we all do in our families, without the murder mystery. See who is the guilty one as you turn page by page. This author had vivid descriptions in Sadies' weekend off of the bed and breakfast that could fill the readers imagination. I could imagine my…

Playing Catch~a book review

This was a difficult topic to write about and the author did so with compassion, intrigue and gentleness so that the reader could feel the pain, and compassion for her heroine.  This hot topic is not for the light hearted, but if the reader can get past the difficult and sensitive subject, it is a love story to be enjoyed.  This is the first book I've read by Rachelle Ayala, and look forward to reading more!  A great read and would recommend to anyone!

Swindled in Paradise

The girls got it right! I can't blame them for wanting to enjoy sun, sand, in beach. Heck! Who in their right mind wants to dodge bullets, find dead bodies, and then have to work? That's exactly what the snarky Fab and feisty Madison get done. Meeting all their friends again and their boss, always looking for them to do a job, these girls take the reader on yet another adventure. Sit down, relax, and be glad you're not them as you enjoy another Fab and Madison adventure! Have a…

Greed in Paradise Review

When I was younger, a much younger girl, I loved Nancy Drew!!! Who didn't love a good sleuth and a woman, or young girl at that. Bring your margaritas and swim suits and join Madison and Fabiana on a chase for the bad guy or guys. Run into trouble while your at it, as these two surely do! You'll love the meddlesome mom, (don't we all) and love Creole, the protective sort...really, or does he just want Madison? Find out with this trouble seeking, sleuthing twosome. Debroah Brown…

Hotflash!

This is the kind of book, you take a bottle of wine, sit back, relax and read. We all remember singlehood, us . Not all of us however, have had that meddling mom, who with her best intentions meddles much to much. Hotflash is a fun book to read, with Jillian, a sous chef as the main character. While Jillians' life sprials out of control, she takes the advice of her friend Connie and decides to survey married women on what makes a happy marriage. So what does??? I was…

Great book! I really  about the romance I love how they meet, then later a detective is trailing Drew, fights ensue. See how things end up between Drew and Amy. He mourns his wife, she catches her husband cheating then he dies in a plane crash. See how the romance. Questions we all have asked ourselves at some point in our lives. Until next time carole

My review for Murder in Paradise by Deborah Brown

This fast paced book of Deborah Brown is a good stand alone, and the first I read in this series. It's nice to see powerful and empowering women take the lead in a novel. Follow Madison as she untangles the problems with her beach property, and deals with her mother with work. Madison is every woman as she deals with car trouble and Brick, car trouble and her love life. Watch how things turn out with Creole, Fab, and intrigue. Remember, the title is Murder in Paradise, so there's that, and…

Holiday Bliss

What a fun group of stories. Three stories in all, and all charming in their own way. The First story, starts out with Brennan, his wife and their son Colin. Of course, there is a secret looming for Brennan that he doesn't want his family to know about. As well as other secrets from other members in this enchanting story.

Our second story tells of how our heroine nurse Julie has to deal with old school physicians. Yep, Julie they are still around. Fun and…

After the Fog

Another great book that involves nursing in a positive way.  If you're a history buff, the way in which this author takes you back to industry is awesome.  The reader will feel like they are standing in the mills, in the town of Donora with her descriptive writing.  I felt like I was transported back in time.  I felt like I was with Rose and her patient Isabella and Ian.   Alot of drama, and secrets that are kept. No matter what your profession, working or not, you'll love…
