- I am a writer about to release my first novel, but I have been publishing short stories for years. I am active in several writer's groups and was recently honored by the Society of Children's Book Writer's & Illustrators fiction contest with an honorable mention. I love to read and am often found curled into a corner with a book while dinner burns.
