- Carole Avila is an award winning writer, poet, playwright, and self-help author. Since reading the epic story “Go Dog. Go!” at three years old Carole knew she was destined to write. Carole writes several different genres, including children’s, young adult, new adult, romance, and literary fiction. Her young adult horror story, Death House, is currently under contract with Black Opal Books. She is under contract with Spout Hill Press for her creative non-fiction work, The Long Term Effects of Sexual Abuse.
