Interview with Mallory Crowe, author of The Vengeful Thief (Stolen Hearts)

Peter Slade never thought he'd be coming home. But after his family is put in danger because of his past misdeeds, he has to reconcile with the son he abandoned years ago . But his son has been in good hands. Liv Morgan has never been the nurturing type, but when hard times forced her to move in with her best friend and her orphaned nephew, she found herself being the adoptive mother to a troublemaker with a heart of gold. Liv has no idea what trouble really is. When Slade rolls back in town and is ready to reconcile with his son, Liv finds herself walking the thin line between the estranged father and son. And as she's more and more drawn to Slade, she realizes that if things go wrong, it will be more than just her heart breaking. But Slade came back for a reason. His family is in danger. Liv might think that keeping him away will protect her heart, but he wants her body safe too and to do that, he's going to have to stay close. Liv is about to learn that revenge has never been this sexy...

Mallory Crowe is the award winning author of the Fractured Farrells series, the Bad Boys of the Underworld series and many other novels. She grew up surrounded by rescue dogs and escaping into romance books whenever possible. After trying to do the "adult" thing by getting an accounting degree and CPA license, she decided to try her hand at writing and never looked back.

An avid traveler, reader, and Netflix addict, Mallory currently lives in Michigan, with her neurotic but laid back dog. www.MalloryCrowe.com www.MalloryCroweParanormal.com https://www.facebook.com/AuthorMalloryCrowe/ @CroweInk

Interview With Mallory Crowe

Tell us a little bit about your book.

All right... so THE VENGEFUL THIEF takes one bad ass career criminal and brings him back to his hometown where he's ready to take down the criminal empire that forced him into his life of crime. Except in the middle is the son he was forced to abandon and the stranger who has stepped in to be his mother figure. So when the two of them aren't butting heads, they're dodging bullets. And with all that emotion and adrenaline going.. how ever will they blow off steam???

Have you published before?

Yes! I have a pretty big backlist at this point. I have a few billionaire series, some paranormals and this is my 5th book in my Stolen Hearts series (but they're all stand alone!)

via GIPHY

Are you currently working on anything else?

I just wrapped up a Christmas novella featuring Austin and Jennifer (From The Cocky Thief) and I'm about to get started on my next thief book, THE CUNNING THIEF which will be Tristan's story.

What is your favorite writing snack?

My favorite writing snack is a Rockstar energy drink (the orange uncarbonated one). I need all the help I can get to meet my writing deadlines!

via GIPHY

What gets you in the mood to write?

I get inspired by other creativity. So reading a good book or watching a good movie will put me in the mood to create my own worlds.

via GIPHY

Who is your favorite character and why?

No! I can't answer this and you can't make me! I honestly don't have a favorite character. Usually whatever hero and heroine I'm writing at the moment because I get very attached to my characters.

via GIPHY

Favorite book of all time?

No, no, no, no, no. Nope. Hell no. You can't trick me into answering this. Favorite authors include Linda Howard, Jayne Ann Krentz, Anne Stuart, Elizabeth Hoyt, Kresley Cole and a few hundred others...

I think breakfast says a lot about a person, what is your perfect breakfast?

Perfect breakfast????

Ummm.... My normal when I go to a diner is two over easy eggs, dry wheat toast and hashbrowns. Then I put the eggs on the toast to make an ah-mah-zing sandwich (and dip the bread in the dripping egg yolk) and then douse the hash browns in ketchup.

Do you have a favorite period of time that you like to write about or would like to live?

Contemporary times are really my creative hot spot. I like things to feel as though they could be happening in some more exciting corner of the world right this instant.

Please tell us in one sentence why we should read your book!

You should read THE VENGEFUL THIEF because the first time Slade and Liv meet, one of them is not wearing pants. You have to read to figure out which one it is!!!
