Sarah Ballance's Ruby Hill

This is a short story with romance, suspense, ghosts and a spooky insane asylum.

Ashley is a paranormal investigator and she is asked to investigate the Ruby Hill Asylum.  Corbin is a detective investigating two murders that occurred at the asylum.  The two have a painful past that they have to put aside, if they want to stay alive.

This story has plenty of spine chilling spooky events and intrigue to keep the reader entertained throughout this story. But I felt that it lacked some details that could have made it better.

I liked the romantic conclusion to the story.  I really wish the author had made this a longer story, because I love the plot and characters.  It is still a great ghost story that could be shared with friends around a camp fire, especially on Halloween.
