My Review:

The second book in the Credence Curse series is a riveting romance that keeps you on the edge of your seat.  Ryker Alfero is everything Lightning craves but shouldn’t want, but as the danger around them escalates and war threatens, she finds it hard to resist the tattooed and dangerous wolf shifter.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers intrigued and tense with anticipation with action, suspense, drama, humor and romance.  The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the tension builds throughout the story as Ryker and Light try to determine just who is causing all the deaths and trying to start a war between the others.  The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The chemistry between Light and Ryker radiates lots of heat from every page and the sexual tension builds into a fiery inferno of passion, but the relationship is what has fireworks exploding throughout the story.  Light has not only been extremely hurt in the past, but her abilities causes her lots of issues that make trusting anyone difficult and Ryker wants her total submission.  The reader can’t help but get caught up in the drama and sometimes humorous romance as these two have a battle of wills not only with each other, but with themselves as well.

The bad guys have a ruthless agenda that causes a lot of excitement and intrigue and the author keeps the readers guessing with lots of twists and turns.  This book was more forthcoming with information and to me had a lot more depth to the story than the first one. Don’t get me wrong the first one was good, but this one is better although, I am upset about the major cliffhanger ending and that I have to wait for the next book.
