Blurb:
Bringing home a human can only go two ways. All out war or death.
Robert Gage is surrounded by sex and his wolf is ready to climb the walls. He doesn't need a mate, but he could use an outlet for his frustration. Someone to warm his bed until morning and then go on her way. He especially doesn't need a human woman who likes to poke her adorable nose in everyone's business. Except her scent and her curves are already messing with his head.
Sienna has about had it with the male species after her latest boyfriend leaves her behind with a stupid note and a mountain of debt. Unfortunately, the only job she can get is in a bar full of rough and scary bikers that seem to think she's an easy lay. She's about to teach them a ball breaking lesson when one of them growls and the other turns into a creature right out of her worst nightmare.
Now a hunk-a-licious big biker is screaming at her to run because her life depends on it. He wants to take her home where she'll be safe. Yeah...okay.
My Review:
Sienna is fighting off a rough and scary biker when he suddenly turns into a creature from a nightmare but her night suddenly gets better when she is taken on the run with a hunk-a-licious big biker who wants to take her home for her safety in this exciting paranormal romance.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. Sienna’s life on her last hope when she accepts a job at a biker bar when suddenly her life is turned on end because she witnesses a man shifting into a wolf. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Sienna is not only introduced to the shifter way of life and informed she is Gage’s mate and while she can’t deny the chemistry rocks she’s not so sure about this mating business. Gage is a one sexy shifter that makes the heart pound and Sienna is one surprising heroine, so together they make one hot couple.
Spine tingling excitement builds throughout the story as the danger to Sienna escalates and everyone realizes there is more going on with the wolves that are after her than they thought. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life while the while orchestrated action draws the reader into the story. There is also the overlying conflict with the shifters and the council and what is going on in their world that adds more depth and spice to the story and ensuring that the reader comes back for more.
The characters are strong and captivating and there was never a dull moment with some interesting elements in a fascinating world of shifters with issues with old fashioned and overbearing laws and the shifters themselves capture the heart as they try to find a solution to why they are dying out. I was completely enthralled with this romance from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one, especially as I know those Blackwood wolves are up to no good.

About Eliza Gayle:
I write because books have been the one constant in my life
I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t reading a book. Except maybe the first couple of years I was in the military.
Being a soldier was the biggest challenge I’d faced up to then, and being a single woman in a sea of men was even more challenging. (Besides who’s thinking about a book when they are surrounded by hot men in real life?)
Some of my favorite memories can be tied to books. Like the Saturdays I spent hours and hours in the corner of the library as a thirteen-year-old, reading books I was far too young to read. Or when I accidentally found a steamy book in my mom’s nightstand that kept me on the edge of my seat and awake all night long.
Or the many times when I needed comfort and the only place to turn to was a book. In those cases, reading a book was better than any other escape my young mind could imagine.
I finally turned to writing after going to the movie theater and seeing The Empire Strikes Back twenty-four times. (Yes, 24.) I couldn’t wait for a sequel and I wanted more romance. So I wrote my own long beforeReturn of the Jedi came out. (No, you cannot read it.)
After that, I often wrote sequels to movies I enjoyed. Romance books that didn’t end as soon as the couple said I love you became my favorite.
Then there were the years of chaos aka when the kids were babes and I lost touch with reading and writing. Until I discovered paranormal romance thanks to Sherrilyn Kenyon. Then it was on.
I read and read and read and read until my husband started poking me asking if I was ever going to get my nose out of a book.
Not for long.
Those years brought me back full circle and I felt driven to start writing again. So without even understanding POV was not an acronym for Personally Owned Vehicle (it is in the military), I wrote my first book.
Then another and another. And another. And another.
I believe in love even if I’m not very good at it. I believe working hard leads to rewards and most of the time I believe in myself.
Mean people piss me off. Irresponsible people piss me off. People who give up on anything worthwhile as soon as it gets a little hard pisses me off. I want people to stop spewing shit on the internet that they would never say in real conversations. I miss nice.
I’d like to cure cancer but I’m not a scientist. I like to be prepared for anything even if that isn’t realistic. I’d like to explore most of the planet. I’d really like to not worry myself into an early grave.
I’d like to be remembered as a writer. I don’t need to be the greatest fucking writer on the planet, but I hope someone remembers me and my stories.
