My Review:

After being shot by drug dealers and left for dead, Heidi is rescued by Jake, every girl’s dream. Jake is a merman and knows that Heidi could expose his secret. Together they end up rescuing each other in this captivating paranormal romantic suspense. The fascinating world is a great blend of mythology with the author’s own refreshingly different spin, a touch of gods, interesting elements, intriguing characters, excitement and surprising twists which ensures that the reader never gets bored. The author has this as a stand-alone story but if you ask me, she could create some wonderful stories with the characters that appeared in this book. I do believe that this is the first book that I have read by this author but I will certainly be looking for more books by her.
