My Review:

Elizabeth Ward is being held hostage and the man who just barged into the room is her only hope but as they go on the run she’ll have to decide if he is there to save her or just to raise some hell in this thrilling romantic suspense.

With a fast paced and smooth flowing plot, this romance keeps readers hovering on the edge with lots of suspense, action and romance. Saxon has been undercover too long and he’s decided this is his last job especially when he rescues Elizabeth and she doesn’t know whether he’s another bad guy or a hero. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Elizabeth comes to realize that sometimes the best heroes are the rough and ready type that makes the heart pound and inspires naughty fantasies which of course only cause the attraction between them to burn hotter and while Saxon knows that he is in no way good enough for Elizabeth, that doesn’t stop him from wanting her. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and ensure that the reader wants to know their entire story.

Lots of action and suspense keeps the anticipation building throughout the story as the enemies continuously try to kill Elizabeth and Saxon. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination while the well orchestrated suspense and action draws the reader deeper into the story and keeps them on their toes with some surprising twists. The good guys have lots of problems with this case as everything seems to go wrong and they realize that there might be a traitor among them which sure is making it hard for them to figure out why someone wants Elizabeth dead. 

Once again, Cynthia Eden holds readers hostage with a very engaging story full of intrigue that just doesn’t let the reader go until they have read every last one and of course I am one of those readers and I really can’t wait to read the next one.
