They must wait for Veris to find them before jumping home and Taylor watches each brutal chariot race, wondering if this will be Brody’s last. Brody once died in the Hippodrome and he is human this time, too….

What I have to say:

In order to stop the Queen, Brody, Veris and Taylor jump back three days to collect evidence but the jump sends them back to Brody's personal nightmare in this emotionally gripping paranormal romance.

If Brody hasn't already won your heart, then be prepared because he sure going to capture it now. The love between Brody, Veris and Taylor still proves to be strong, sure and enviable as their desires for each other continues to grow even hotter as time goes on or in their case in whatever time they find themselves in. Brody's horrific past causes quite a bit of emotional turmoil for our characters as they strive to survive fifth century Constantinople long enough to jump back home and the reader can't help but get caught up in the all the differences that time makes while the love continues to hold these characters together. The steady to fast paced plot captivates readers with lots of suspense, excitement, and romance not to mention drawing them in with a sense of discovery as they get to know part of Brody's past.

Anticipation and tension builds throughout the story as the Queen's actions set an emotionally charged time jump in motion and causes quite a bit of mayhem for our characters, especially Brody. There's also a bit of excitement and expectation as we are introduced to new characters and of course time changes everything so the jump itself adds new characters as well and along with some unexpected twists keep readers guessing as to what will happen next, especially since Taylor has a few surprises up her sleeves too. The story and all its time periods are brought to life with vivid imagery that captures the imagination and the fascinating story draws readers in and refuses to let go.

I swear that somehow I lost quite a bit of time because I was so caught up in this story I forgot all about dinner and everything else for that matter and I really can't wait to read the next Kiss Across Time adventure.
